Like most of the other buildings that I designed for this game, the building was upgradable and needed to have 3 distinct visual manifestations, while being recognizable as the same building. I worked with director Joseph Kahn on his bootleg “deBoot” Power Rangers short. He needed digital matte paintings to layer into the background of a few shots; a day and night view of a futuristic LA skyline and an alley shot.
I got to work with Blockade Games on storyboards and animations for a trailer, explaining the back story of their cyberpunk themed crypto game. The trailer contains a hidden crypto puzzle that was eventually solved. It was fun to work with the team to hide the clues in the video trailer.
I created this watercolor painting of four members of the Icelandic men’s national soccer team. The inspiration was the amazing achievements of this team, in particular qualifying for the FIFA world cup last summer. As an Icelander I’ve been a fan of the team since I was a boy. The ads were used online, in newspaper ads and billboards at the Keflavik international airport. These are illustrations commissioned for a state park in California.
Zombie Gunship Survival World of Darkness
Wildlife illustration for a state park in California. This was for a large informational panel to be installed in the park. The panel explains how squirrels help the giant redwoods by eating the outer parts of the pine-cones which helps release the seeds.
